Since 1948, the not-for-profit Melbourne Cinematheque has been showing ground breaking cinema from around the world on 35mm & 16mm film.

This was a brand refresh of a poster and brochure of session times for the Melbourne Cinematheque. For the poster, I focused on the style of old fashioned film reels. I recreated this “look and feel” by projecting light through perforated paper, which I then photographed to use the resulting image.
The brochure is also inspired by a film reel, as the images follow the same theme and flow through the centre of the design in the same way a film reel would.
